And he broughtH935 the letterH5612 to the kingH4428 of Israel,H3478 saying,H559 NowH6258 when thisH2088 letterH5612 is comeH935 to you, behold,H2009 I have therewith sentH7971 NaamanH5283 my servantH5650 to you, that you may recoverH622 him of his leprosy.H6883

And it cameH1961 to pass, when the kingH4428 of IsraelH3478 had readH7121 the letter,H5612 that he rentH7167 his clothes,H899 and said,H559 Am I God,H430 to killH4191 and to make alive,H2421 that thisH2088 man does sendH7971 to me to recoverH622 a manH376 of his leprosy?H6883 whyH3588 H389 consider,H3045 I prayH4994 you, and seeH7200 howH3588 he seeksH579 a quarrelH579 against me.

And it was so, when ElishaH477 the manH376 of GodH430 had heardH8085 that the kingH4428 of IsraelH3478 had rentH7167 his clothes,H899 that he sentH7971 to the king,H4428 saying,H559 WhyH4100 have you rentH7167 your clothes?H899 let him comeH935 nowH4994 to me, and he shall knowH3045 that there is a prophetH5030 in Israel.H3478

So NaamanH5283 cameH935 with his horsesH5483 and with his chariot,H7393 and stoodH5975 at the doorH6607 of the houseH1004 of Elisha.H477

And ElishaH477 sentH7971 a messengerH4397 to him, saying,H559 GoH1980 and washH7364 in JordanH3383 sevenH7651 times,H6471 and your fleshH1320 shall comeH7725 againH7725 to you, and you shall be clean.H2891

But NaamanH5283 was wroth,H7107 and wentH3212 away, and said,H559 Behold,H2009 I thought,H559 He will surely comeH3318 out to me, and stand,H5975 and callH7121 on the nameH8034 of the LORDH3068 his God,H430 and strikeH5130 his handH3027 overH413 the place,H4725 and recoverH622 the leper.H6879

Are not AbanaH71 and Pharpar,H6554 riversH5104 of Damascus,H1834 betterH2896 than allH3605 the watersH4325 of Israel?H3478 may I not washH7364 in them, and be clean?H2891 So he turnedH6437 and wentH3212 away in a rage.H2534

And his servantsH5650 cameH5066 near,H5066 and spokeH1696 to him, and said,H559 My father,H1 if the prophetH5030 had bidH1696 you do some greatH1419 thing,H1697 would you not have doneH6213 it? howH637 muchH637 H3588 rather then, whenH3588 he saidH559 to you, Wash,H7364 and be clean?H2891

Then wentH3381 he down,H3381 and dippedH2881 himself sevenH7651 timesH6471 in Jordan,H3383 according to the sayingH1697 of the manH376 of God:H430 and his fleshH1320 cameH7725 againH7725 like to the fleshH1320 of a littleH6995 child,H5288 and he was clean.H2891

And he returnedH7725 to the manH376 of God,H430 he and allH3605 his company,H4264 and came,H935 and stoodH5975 beforeH6440 him: and he said,H559 Behold,H2009 nowH4994 I knowH3045 that there is noH369 GodH430 in allH3605 the earth,H776 but in Israel:H3478 nowH6258 therefore, I prayH4994 you, takeH3947 a blessingH1293 of your servant.H5650

But he said,H559 As the LORDH3068 lives,H2416 beforeH6440 whomH834 I stand,H5975 I will receiveH3947 none. And he urgedH6484 him to takeH3947 it; but he refused.H3985

And NaamanH5283 said,H559 Shall there not then, I prayH4994 you, be givenH5414 to your servantH5650 two mules'H6505 burdenH4853 of earth?H127 for your servantH5650 will from now onH5750 offerH6213 neitherH3808 burntH5930 offering nor sacrificeH2077 to otherH312 gods,H430 but to the LORD.H3068

In thisH2088 thingH1697 the LORDH3068 pardonH5545 your servant,H5650 that when my masterH113 goesH935 into the houseH1004 of RimmonH7417 to worshipH7812 there,H8033 and he leansH8172 onH5921 my hand,H3027 and I bowH7812 myself in the houseH1004 of Rimmon:H7417 when I bowH7812 downH7812 myself in the houseH1004 of Rimmon,H7417 the LORDH3068 pardonH5545 your servantH5650 in thisH2088 thing.H1697

And he saidH559 to him, GoH3212 in peace.H7965 So he departedH3212 from him a littleH3530 way.H776

But Gehazi,H1522 the servantH5288 of ElishaH477 the manH376 of God,H430 said,H559 Behold,H2009 my masterH113 has sparedH2820 NaamanH5283 thisH2088 Syrian,H761 in not receivingH3947 at his handsH3027 that whichH834 he brought:H935 but, as the LORDH3068 lives,H2416 I will runH7323 afterH310 him, and takeH3947 somewhatH3972 of him.

So GehaziH1522 followedH7291 afterH310 Naaman.H5283 And when NaamanH5283 sawH7200 him runningH7323 afterH310 him, he lightedH5307 down from the chariotH4818 to meetH7125 him, and said,H559 Is all well?H7965

And he said,H559 All is well.H7965 My masterH113 has sentH7971 me, saying,H559 Behold,H2009 even nowH6258 there be comeH935 to me from mountH2022 EphraimH669 twoH8147 youngH5288 men of the sonsH1121 of the prophets:H5030 giveH5414 them, I prayH4994 you, a talentH3603 of silver,H3701 and twoH8147 changesH2487 of garments.H899

And NaamanH5283 said,H559 Be content,H2974 takeH3947 two talents.H3603 And he urgedH6555 him, and boundH6887 twoH8147 talentsH3603 of silverH3701 in twoH8147 bags,H2754 with twoH8147 changesH2487 of garments,H899 and laidH5414 them on twoH8147 of his servants;H5288 and they boreH5375 them beforeH6440 him.

And when he cameH935 to the tower,H6076 he tookH3947 them from their hand,H3027 and bestowedH6485 them in the house:H1004 and he let the menH582 go,H7971 and they departed.H3212

Is it a timeH6256 to receiveH3947 money,H3701 and to receiveH3947 garments,H899 and olive groves,H2132 and vineyards,H3754 and sheep,H6629 and oxen,H1241 and menservants,H5650 and maidservants?H8198

The leprosyH6883 therefore of NaamanH5283 shall stickH1692 to you, and to your seedH2233 for ever.H5769 And he wentH3318 out from his presenceH6440 a leperH6879 as white as snow.H7950
